Take MEWP training with Safety Guys. Participants will receive in-class instruction as well as practical training on a scissor lift and articulating boom. New indoor training facilities are offered to provide training out of the elements.
Working At Heights is a pre-requisite; all participants will be required to provide proof of training.
Course Description
All Safety is proud to partner with Safety Guys to provide MEWP training in eastern Ontario. Public courses are available in Kingston and Belleville, private session are available across the 401 corridor.
This course provides in-depth training for machine operators that adheres to CAN/CSA B354.4-02 (R2013). Students receive theory and practical instruction on the safe operation of scissor lift and articulating boom, applicable health and safety requirements, MLITSD regulations, accident prevention, safe handling of materials, loads and stability and operational controls. Fall arrest equipment for MEWP is also discussed.
Students will complete a test on theory and a test on practical skills to attain certification. Recertification every years is required
