Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) describes a supervisor as anyone who “has charge of a workplace or authority over a worker.”  OHSA Regulations also state that supervisors must receive training in their responsibilities within one week of starting in their role.

Legislation requires that all Supervisors, lead hands and small business owners that also take the role of supervisor in the daily management of the business, be competent in occupational health and safety Act and applicable regulations related to their work such as the Construction Regulation, Industrial Regulation and Mining Regulation.

We have partnered with Safety Guys to present this training program that will help prepare you for success in the role of Supervisor. You will learn to navigate the act and understand the regulations so that you can better protect your workers, yourself and your company.
