Why Ask Safety Questions
Asking questions about safety is the best way to keep employee’s safe. We like it when workers ask the questions that no one else will ask because it opens up communication and lets everyone know its ok. To coin a phrase ‘no question is a silly question’ so ask the silly questions. Amanda loves to spread her wisdom and if she doesn’t know she will put it to the All Safety team who will answer it for you. No one knows everything, not even the experts. Consequently, we learn from your question also.
One of the questions we always ask when we are conducting annual safety meetings with our clients is “what are your responsibilities as a worker”. Most usually don’t know the answer to this one! We follow it with “what are your rights as a worker” which a lot kind of know but not fully.
Do you have a question? You can ask it anonymously (let Brenda know you don’t want your name to appear on the blog. The blog will build so as a result there will be answers to the questions you have already answered.
We at All Safety enjoy the challenging questions, the ones regarding the Ministry of Labour, that’s when we go to our resident ex MOL staff and pick their brains so…… ask away!
